Is there a name for vocals that sound like the opening verse in Pendulum- crush

You could call them "Ad libs"...

Another term is "fill-ups" (or "fills") - for vocals that are used to fill up some space beside the lyrics...

BTW, that's a different case but it shows the great effect of ad-libs (listen to the spoken words in the background that don't belong to the lyrics):
