Hah! Still awesome though.

And what's even more funny... the band got free promotion due to that. So the engineer last a tad more than invested time and money. But at least he had a sh*tload of fun in the end.

Unless that's a planned viral campaign. We'll never know.

That article is so non informative and wrong, it's not even funny. Typical for "STERN". It's not "Disco", it's dance (EDM != Disco!).

Even the translation of the very first sentence of the video is wrong. EDIT: Actually, they translated the YT description. A for effort, F for jumping on the bandwagon.

I still say it's a marketing campaign. Not revenge anymore.

Yep, it's a "newspaper" favorited by people skipping pages to just see polished images while they're waiting at the hairdresser.

However it has some media penetration so the answer to the viral question is "yes" (2ct).

I'm not sure how serious this "punishment" is meant to be...

There's too much illusion in this world...

For example, two years ago there was a big story in German media about a desperate child who lost his plush toy, and - by pure chance - two guys from an ADVERTISING AGENCY found it again...

I'm pretty sure this was a campaign of the advertising agency, not an accident of the child...

So in this case it could be a campaign, too...
