oh, "huffing rag blues" by nurse with wound, is possibly the closest thing to a "perfect album" that ive heard.

I never get tired of listening to this! Incredibly brave and different for a "pop" tune. 35 seconds of discordant intro, that drum rat a tat tat going through the song, the atmospheric Mellotron, the soaring vocals in the second verse. Hard to believe that the song is now 32 years old! Makes me feel old... still remember the first time I heard it all those years ago!

Also, very different to the above but I love this one too... Nice development and build up to the crescendo at the end.

Perfect songs and tracks
