Let's be honest: Most producers already have their people and aren't looking for DJs. They may be looking for some studio musicians and singers but not for DJs...

If you were a great singing artist, you might have more chances. But producers aren't searching for competitors...

sorry that not true. with coop isn't ment you meet the other every day in the studio. its more online via mail and skype and exchange.

and please dont mix dj and producer. we are talking about dance music. you have
most of the time producers who are dj also. or dj who arent able to produce and let release.

I give you "kid" a friendly advise, for free and really(!) with good will:

There are always (at least) two impressions people have about you:

a) your own and
b) the one from the other person.

Therefore you should carefully listen and decide:

- is it wrong? who is wrong?
- is it right? who is right?
- is it worth that I freak out and lose control?
- is there some truth in the other people's impression, maybe a little bit?
- have I heard it already from a third person (yes, you did, see quote)?
- am I honest to myself?

I think the last question is the most important.
