shameful behaviour on the part of the dev. it's a pity KVR caved to pressure to censor your thread which documented your experience.

Indeed,
Google cache never caves in or forgets characters like Sinan Bokesoy. :)

Monas, it might be an idea for you to knock up a quick blog/tumblr/wordpress/whatever page that documents your experience, so that it may be easily linked to in future cosmos-f discussions.

In fact it wasn't even me who brought this thread back to life, but I was asked if anything happened, and I said no.

Monas, a cosmos-f licensee, is being denied access to his product. I think it would be more regrettable if that fact goes unknown. Otherwise we, as a community, are promoting a product by a dev who has it in him to treat customers in such a fashion. If we can't highlight monas experience I don't see why we should also promote cosmos-f at all.
This thread started as a discussion about the app, not as a promotion. Some users expressed their interest and fascination, others disliked it. Now this thread is just transforming into another Monas-versus-Sinan-thread which I don't understand.
I'm out of here.
You're really stretching. When the community discusses an app, that serves as promotion. When guys {like you} try and stifle discussion about how the dev of that app can sometimes treat a licensee, denying him access to said $200 app, then it becomes an ad-hoc advertisement.

Not all of us can write the cost of these apps off as business expenses Simon, nor can most of us rely on the reputation of our father's name to ensure we get the premium customer service. Maybe you should try seeing issues from a regular joe's point of view once in a while, rather than extending your professional courtesies at the cost of transparency. Bye!

I think its a natural progression/evolution given that the last thread didn't resolve.
What makes it worse is monas didn't get a resolution.
No happy ever after for this then :)

Maybe, but I am not so good at internet stuff, and I also feel there's already way too much energy wasted on this guy. I have a life and work to do. I'll just post it if anything happens but there probably won't be much.

As long as there is a problem, it'll be discussed. Simple as that. The developer could at least offer some customer service, even here at KVR. And he should deliver the updates to every customer, not matter if he likes him/her or if he hates him/her...

Other developers would have cleared this case within minutes, no matter from which country...

Even if he would be as intelligent as Einstein and cosmos-f would revolutionize the whole sound engineering for the next 500 years, I wouldn't buy a product from a company with that kind of non-existent customer service.

Its been wiped from the annals of history. lol
The imprint of that thread will remain though :)
I would have understand that the thread got locked, because it was leading to nowhere except bashings.
But it is deleted completely - that's uncommon and has the smell of censorship. :?    Maybe the dev announced to sue KvR :hihi:

Really cheap shot there. Simon's reputation stands on his own body of work. He has earned the respect he gets.

While I disagree with Simon's POV on this matter, try arguing the case on it's merits, and not stoop to flinging crap without any basis in reality.
