I've had 4 beers and I'm only good for the couch, and shortly thereafter the bed.
The drugs don't work.

It's being young that does the trick ;)

Amira Willighagen

Drugs didn't work for Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse... :(

I thought they died from drinking too much. Same as Hendrix.

Sartre, Jean Paul, Goethe... many giants used drugs (e.g. alcohol) and praised their power.

But it is only one part of the story - I'm repeating myself on this. They surely refined their outbursts before spreading it to friends or publishers etc.

Alcohol is a drug, too...

But I could have mentioned Kurt Cobain and Rob Pilatus, too, who died because of harder drugs...

Didnt Kurt shoot himself? And if we're being pedantic then coffee tobacco and tea are drugs too.

Must support thecontrolcentre: with an "overdose of heroine" you can't shoot yourself... ;)

@tricky I think you'll find you are wrong.
Cobain's death certificate stated that his death was a result of a "contact perforating shotgun wound to the head", and concluded his death a suicide. The report estimated Cobain to have died on April 5, 1994.

Tobacco contains one of the strongest poisons in nature and can even kills children...

A high concentration of heroin and traces of diazepam were also found in his body.

High blood pressure and heart problems are often attributed to too much caffeine. And like I said ... I was being pedantic. Most people dont mean alcohol when they talk about drugs.

Nonsense, even with an overdose of heroine you can shoot yourself! "Overdose" doesn't mean that you're dead within 5 seconds, there's still enough time to shoot yourself...
