And can I trigger with one MIDI track all instruments which are layered?
And can I use different effects for every layer seperatly? Like for Synth 1 a different EQ as for Synth 2 as example? (parallel processing for layers)

Yes and yes. All the instruments are layered on one midi track and respond to the tracks midi, just like Live. These questions have already been answered. As I said, if you read the thread starting from page 65 there is a bunch of info there that could give more answers about how it works. It's not too much to read.Michael1985 wrote:And can I trigger with one MIDI track all instruments which are layered?

Would they release so soon after providing a new beta to the testers? I'd guess there would be at least of couple of weeks in between. Especially since they added a bunch of new stuff.

I had no clue they are still adding new stuff, and have a new beta out.Ogopogo wrote:Would they release so soon after providing a new beta to the testers? I'd guess there would be at least of couple of weeks in between. Especially since they added a bunch of new stuff.
Hopefully they will know when it's ready for release, since they can keep doing this forever

Are there any pics on how the layering tool looks? Just really curious, is it similar to lives racks> ?
thanks

If you go to the bitwig site and click on the "world class sound devices" thumbnail you can see the "inst-layer" in there. That doesn't show any of the deep settings, but it looks like it's pretty much the same thing as a live instrument rack, I mean alot of stuff is straight from live, that's why it has a reputation as a copy. I think Thomas might have said something in an earlier post about things like key and velocity splitting but I can't remember for sure if it was in fact the inst-layer he was talking about.
