I can't find any info about a new roland synth. If its a new supersaw type thing I will buy it.
Pigments Presets, Omnisphere Expansions, Dune, Serum, and Thorn Sound Packs. Diva, Zebra, TAL, and Repro Sound Banks.

Diva has a recreation of the Supersaw that's probably better than what Roland would ever come up with these days.faun2500 wrote:I can't find any info about a new roland synth. If its a new supersaw type thing I will buy it.

Not that i would be a potential customer, but yeah, i'd rather see them getting the VA thing right.faun2500 wrote:I can't find any info about a new roland synth. If its a new supersaw type thing I will buy it.

+1....Roland eh...I just don't get at all why they don't reissue a TB303,it's a total no brainer and they couldn't fail financially,it honestly annoys meSendy wrote:Diva has a recreation of the Supersaw that's probably better than what Roland would ever come up with these days.faun2500 wrote:I can't find any info about a new roland synth. It annoys me too. They would sell a million of them. The people running the company must be idiots. lol

Millions? Are you sure?
Wonder how many acid heads there are left...
Not sure if i would call the guys running Roland idiots too. After all, they managed to keep the company in a difficult business for decades. Of course with more appeal to mass taste, but then, if that's what it takes to survive as a company...

dear roland, here in large lettering reads that us the fans of your old analogue synths would like to see you the xox range, especially the 303...apart from the fact that it would be a huge financial success for you it would be totally awesome and damn right good of you to reissue the range...now get on with that damn it!

It's probably more to do with people just wanting analogue, more over, classic analogue... at a bargain price.chk071 wrote:Millions? Are you sure?Wonder how many acid heads there are left...

Ironically Diva supersaw is modeled after Roland Jupiter

I know what it is. They're going to rerelease the 606! Super-duper splat-hiss-splat-hiss beatz. A drum machine so...er...underwhelming that it'll make even the newly released MC303030303 mk7 sound powerful.

You know everyone just wants a new Jupiter 8. In any case, they better not make another poor sounding "reissue" like KORG did with MS-20 mini which sounds like crap compared to the original. But they probably will, and I suppose it's most likely something like a horrible SH-101 or in the worst case a TB-303 "reissue". Definitely not a Jupiter 8. And they'll never bother building a very expensive new analog drum synth that's 99.9% replaceable by a proper multi-sampled library.ChiTown24 wrote:with Korg apparently doing so well with their recent foray into dirt cheap {to cheap-ish} analog units, modifiable, and the ms20 re-issue, one can only hope roland are taking a cue to do the same. all the clues seem to be pointing to something X0X and analogue, one can only hope!
