I have been a member of a number of Yahoo groups for music related stuff - hardware and software - for some years. I have a steady stream of mails coming from some of those groups - some are quite active. The Yahoo account that I subscribed to these groups from - guess what - I can no longer log into. I don't use Yahoo for mail and the group settings are pretty much set and forget. I haven't logged in to my decade old account for some time so it is now being "recycled". WTF!
There is an endless loop of "support" options on their site but nothing resembling an email address for support. They invite me to create a new account (what use that would be in this situation I cannot say) which seems to involve giving a great deal of personal information to a company which has already messed me around by removing my ability to control my own account. I don't wish to delete my account, merely to regain access and control of it.
Anyone else been through this crap or have a solution?

I was in a somewhat similar situation as yours (locked out of account), it also took me forever to find how /where to mail them.

If you dont trust my link, or it doesnt work for you (i see en_us in the link) go to sign into yahoo, under Sign In, click "I can't access my account", at the top of the screen click 'Help', on the following screen there is a section of 'Quick links', the first option there, is 'Contact Customer Care'.
Good luck.

OK - thanks for the suggestion and link. I got a link to an actual form via that link. A similar page that I accessed lacked that option. Problem is that the issue report form page reports a problem - "try again later". Fantastic.
