Hey, the way I see it, there are still plenty of things I haven't done with my Spect plugs, and for a while longer at least I won't need to plunk down any cash on RMX2. Maybe I'll get presents for the kids this year instead

it's not like Spectrasonics aren't working. they have been busy in a busy year so far.
July 19, 2013 Omni, Trillian and sylus rmx certified for Logic X.
July 26, 2013 public beta new AAX versions of all three plugins for Pro Tools 11.
October 31, 2013 all three plugins qualified for use in Mac OSX 10.9 Mavericks.
Steinberg dropping support for VST 2.4 and only supporting VST 3, I'm sure that Spectrasonics have to be working hard on keeping up with VST 3 versions.
All that just to keep up with the Jones' as it were.
2014 speculation on something new? I can wait, great innovative stuff takes time.

Well, the biggest thing for me is Stylus. Omnisphere still has ton for me to explore as does trillian (I never use trilian, I use the soundsources/presets in omnisphere). The re-organization of presets coming is fantastic enough!
Stylus is very old-fashion compared to something like Image-Line's slice-x which gives you clear visuals of the loop file and easy control over each slice. I'm hoping for a similar, if not better, feature of this in Stylus 2

I hear ya, I mean I've been coasting for years now without even needing to use the keyswitches, and the results are just amazing.hibidy wrote:Awesome!
I've decided just tonight to go through the trilian viddy again just because it's there to go through (and I'm not really remembering keyswitches to well)

I would love to see Onmisphere update to allow the importing of wave files.
This would make it so much more usable.
The library of sounds would grow exponentially making Omnisphere even more capable.
Same for Stylus, allow loops and wav files would make it so much more capable.
Just saying...

I can't lie, I've totally given up. The three I have (er, well the 3 they make) work fine. I'm content and have decided to be pleasantly surprised when something does come up. but I wouldn't mind if someone had a juicy tidbit

I think it would be funny if Spectrasonics made their next announcement on their website with no change to there home page other than a blurb on the Latest Info:Compyfox wrote:Musikmesse 2014 is next week - so... maybe then...
"We at Spectrasonics are completely cool with the fact we didn't win any awards this week because we've released a new product."
Their website would crash within 10 minutes.

You know what's funny on that?
I can totally imagine them doing so.
