Song "Bread" - criticism/feedback appreciated

Done some work on this one.... still not entirely happy about it but would like some comments/feedback to help me to finish it off.

Just listened to it a few times. Nice tune - very relaxing. You're right, though, that the drums could use some spicing up. Have you considered adding some kind of rhythmic filter on them, or maybe add some more percussion that has a filter applied?

what I would really like to do is some cut-up breakbeat stuff over the top, but that has quite a learning curve before you can do it justice.

Actually, that was the first thing that sprung in my mind when listening to Bread ..
Second thing is the sound .. Seems more appropriate for a dance track and this doesn't seem to be your intention

studio wise i mean host/vsts and such

i wouldnt go for breakbeats personally id keep it simple but it does need something ?but nice sounds n stuff

and the occasional sneaky audio loop from a demo, messing with M42 at the moment (which is awesome) after checking out Tim's presets on crystal. the 37 Euro's will be comming his way imminently.

Somehow I kinda disagree on the 4/4 drums. In my ears it sorta destroys the floaty feel of this (which is rather good). I think breakbeats would work much better here....

Another thing is the dynamics; power-wise this tune seems to be stuck in one level, whereas using some more extreme dynamics (more silent breaks) and slopes towards climaxes make for a more interesting listen. The choirey pads take up a lot of the overal sound, I think cutting some of the frequencies will provide for play-room for weird sequences as you allready have floating about.

Erm.... if it doesn't makes sense blame it on the wooden head
