Another one to test:
1. Map ADSR1 to FREQUENCY in the Mod Matrix
2. Set DECAY on ADSR1 to halfway up (0.5, can be whatever really)
3. Increase the MOD value towards 10 (Max value)
4. Plugin crashes
Same details as above, happens on 41 or 96KHz and can be replicated every time. Crash usually comes in at Mod values of 4.0 and above.
Also, I'm using the mouse wheel to increase the Mod (ADSR1 of FREQUENCY) value.

We are pretty busy at the moment so it's not sure we can compete in this month contest, but if we do, we will probably end up with 20 something presets and we are more than happy to send these to you.payne_bc wrote:By the way, the current tf3 package does not have all too many presets. How protective are you guys of the patches you create? If somebody would be willing to send me their patches after the competition is over, I'd package them with the final tf3 download and credit you in a readme. That way there'd be a richer selection of patches for other composers in the future.
So again, no promises we are going to compete, but we will try!

If I get to it (and it seems I will), I'll donate my patches for sure. That reminds me that I have to upload my CM-101 patches of last month

Sure, I'd be thrilled to share any patches I create.payne_bc wrote:By the way, the current tf3 package does not have all too many presets. How protective are you guys of the patches you create? I can - usually - reproduce this (totally different setup). I think it may be something about the pitch being too high that crashes everything (?).H-man wrote:1. Map ADSR1 to FREQUENCY in the Mod Matrix

Sorry, I tried both of your instructions. They both work stable hereH-man wrote:Another one to test:

EDIT: too fast. took a bit more playing, then I got it crashing, too
Fixed! Also fixed that issue about automating formant type. Should work now.

You know, I haven't even started my track and already I'm having a blast
Seeing how fast is this synth bug tested and especially how quickly it gets fixed, makes me feel like participating in a CB of a very cool MMO (and I've been in a lot of them). A community working tight - this is awesome guys, bravo

Yes great work Christian, wish all developers were this quick to sort issues.
And nice that those with trouble stuck around to try out a working one.
About the upcoming version 4, will it still be made using QT?

Yes it uses almost the same UI. I might as well post a screen here, it's not a secret anyway. It will be a pure additive/wavetable synth.V'ger wrote:Yes great work Christian, wish all developers were this quick to sort issues.

I sure hope it's not the source of the problems some people are having (it was just speculation the other day)
If someone is curious about the kind of sound, this track was done using it:

Hey why don't you join in the One Synth Challenge as well? That would be awesome, and it looks like you already are doing such a thing.payne_bc wrote:
