So over the past few months i have been dabbling here and there into beginning a production hobby. I wanted to make my own remix of a track i could play at house parties that everyone would know. After experimenting with a few tracks, i came across blade and decided to persue it as the samples were easy to cut and its a track everyone knows and loves, perfect for late night house parties.

right now the "melbourne sound" has blown up in australia and i must admit it has a grasp on me aswell, with its simple kick-bass combo its pretty easy to get suckered into and enjoy, so i decided to make an attept at a melbourne remix of blade (please dont hate me).

as this is my first track i naturally have minimal knowledge and i'm hoping a few generous people would be able to give me a few suggestions and pointers on anything and everything, so that i might eventually get it upto a standard to be played outside of my ipod.

be as mean or as nice as you want, hate it or love it, im not fussed, we all have to start somewhere,

Cheers!!

Hey man, it is a really good start. Im not too good at producing yet. But I listen to melbourne quite a lot. You have a really good base, and maybe we just have different tastes in music, but I am not a huge fan of the synth your using. Maybe some minor adjustments could fix it, but I also dont like that "Blap" sound you have going on. Other than that, it sounds pretty good.
