You guys need the extra strength litter, that's some stinky! :D

Well assuming they will release it before the end of the year and assuming they will give a release date at least a week or so before they release it, maybe we will hear something pretty soon. I can't wait.

Does BTW Studio has mono tracks or just stereo like in live?
What about group tracks/busses ?

There is no concept of bus vs. sends in BWS to my knowledge?

In Ableton you have Group/Folder channels, with which you can use one fader, one launch clip, one FX rack, one fader, one audio output a.s.o. for many MIDI and Audio channels. And finally you can collapse them that you only can see the folder channel. For mixing an essential function.

Available in Bitwig?

What you have is effect-tracks as they call it, same system as in Live, where it's called return track.

yes, for send effects. but it should be not the only possibility for bus routing.

Each track has send levels to every existing effect track, again the same as in Live. And those can be automated the same as everything else, so it can be either clip or arrangement based.

Is this possible with the Group/Folder Tracks, too? Do Bitwig have them?

[/quote]"From the arranger to the arrangement" huh?

It is the second view for arranging the clips direct into the arrangement.

Furthermore: Live has the FX Rack where you can map effects within the range of a macro knob, is there also a FX rack with these global FX functions like Live has?(And not just a FX chain)

No definitely not. This are important functions and I never asked for that in the past.

I have no answer for that. Please answer me too! Why you answer other people but not me? my questions are also useful!

ACK! Thomas, say it isn't forever.

crazyfiltertweaker, yes it is true, I remember thomas has said everything he knows about each subject in that post earlier in this thread. You cannot bug him to repeat the same stuff over and over. Read the earlier posts going back to page 65. It is not that much. You would already have your answer if you had!

In fairness, what more is there to talk about?

All the major stuff has been covered to the point where I damn near feel like I know how to use Bitwig now. The minor super specific questions are starting to feel like splitting hairs.

Tom has put out more info on BW than BW itself and done the KVR owners the favor of making KVR THE number 1 place to get BW info. Let the man rest.

thank you Thomas!

Well, I agree with most stuff there. But it's possible another interesting nugget or two will surface, especially if another beta comes out. Also we might get some clues as to how close it is.

And I didn't think Thomas minded talking about it as long as the questions are interesting.

I suppose I was waiting for the release to conclude the thread to give Thomas his official round of applause; it's true he's the number one source of Bitwig info on the net. But here we go, thanks very much bro.

Huh? Still people active here? Wasn't this whole bitwig fuss debunked as a cats & jokes thing?
