Really cool idea. Seems too narrowly focused on DJ's/remixers though; I'm kinda surprised they came out with it.

It's just a sample of what might be possible with Surface Covers and it looks like it will be available to buy - http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/ ... cessories1 There's no price or availability yet but at least it is listed. If it can be made to work with other software it could be a great tool on stage and if 3rd party manufacturers pick it up and run with it, it could be the first of many specialised covers. Seeing this at the Surface 2 launch is what convinced me to replace my laptop with a Surface Pro 2.

Btw; How many music apps are available for Win RT..?!

I would really like something like this as an add on to an ipad air. Modern, sleek, cool. With the ability to plug in directly without wireless.

Problem is the pricing - out here (Oz) the cheapest Surface 2 is around $1k!
