Software that generates picutes from music

I know the win media player can do.
But the styles you can choose from are quite...........not so much.
Is there other software that can do the same?

Havent messed with it in years, but Winamp along with Milkdrop was pretty flexible for creating new things.

Live looping with Ableton Live. All lighting is completely controlled by the instruments via an Enttec DMXIS and Max for Live. Video monitors are displaying Nullsoft's Winamp (Milkdrop) reacting to the audio in realtime. Nothing was pre-recorded.
