But i don't care if it can write my music for me if it's missing fundamentals. We are talking the most basic of basic things here, come on Dan! Surely you get that.

Bitwig is free to pursue their vision of what they want. If that does not interest you, then don't use it. You talk about them as if they are committing some heinous act. They are just doing what they want and the fate of the world does not hinge on it. You are the one that starts to sound rude and mean spirited.

I find it interesting how people talk about bitwig 1.0 development time but ignore that Live 9 took 4 years to come and barley added anything to workflow.

I don't understand why your so emotional about Bitwig and it's perceived failures but it does raise some questions about why exactly it is that your here in this thread "preaching the gospel" instead of the thread of you DAW of choice being positive, having fun and making music.

I dislike Reaper and DP but you wouldn't know it because I don't waste my time on the internet reading threads dedicated to things I don't even like.

Just as I have no idea why my posts bother you or your even wasting the time to say so when you could be being positive, having fun and making music.

Yesterday I checked out different subhosts to see how I can work around the midi limitations.

Shhhht! We're just finishing the next beta milestone over here at the lab and among other things, it includes our arpeggiator and also deals with the midi output of VSTs. There won't be extensive routing options between tracks etc. for this in version 1.0, as it just passes the note output on to the next device, but obviously there are already a lot of nice ideas for upcoming versions in the drawer, just waiting to be implemented...

Honestly, while I appreciate your efforts on giving us as much as you can on v1.0, I would personally prefer to not wait anymore and get those features as a v1.x release (that worked quite well for Studio One).


Anyway I am not trying to tell you how to do your jobs (which I dont know how to do) just telling my preferences as a potential costumer, it looks like it already have nice features if those others that are planned are released as a v.1x I would prefer a lot to have it sooner rather than latter.

I hope for the best and I will try to resist to the Live promo.


BTW how does push work with BWS? Anyone can tell me?

The thread was fine (well, it was always a bad thread due to various reasons one of them being cat pics) until you started your insults.

No, it was fine until you started with your rude and abusive posts. Maybe someday you will be honest to look at why you are at the center of so many thread conflicts.

Even if Bitwig has made bad software, that is no excuse for your attacks. But that is what abusive personalities do. They find various rationalizations to justify their own abusive actions towards others. And then they have every excuse why it is someone elses fault.
