Yes, what a joke. Ableton devs are just getting around to features that have been preent in Logic and Cubase for years and BitWig is a no show.

It will be ready when it's ready :hihi:

Well... I guess I'm not alone here that's feeling sick, and tired waiting for BStudio to be released.

Hopefully, it will be out in the next few weeks. (Before Dec. 2013 is over) !

It feels like the beta-testing will never end.... (that's how I feel)

Don't hope! If this thread has taught us anything, it's that hope is a surefire path to disappointment. Low expectations; that's the key!

Bitwig is for real and runs fine on my laptop. (I'm in their beta test phase)

Post

We know it's for real, we know the beta testers have had it for 4 or 5 years now.......

It's time for newness! :hihi:

I'd say "release the hounds" but, we know it needs to be about cats :D

Hi HiEnergy,

Good to know it runs great on your laptop, and that you are a beta tester. But... How much longer is it going to be in beta-phase ?

I hope they are not trying to rush a few more features at the last minute. It's time they release it, and then add more stuff to it, and do more beta in the background.

Hope to see it soon :)

Cheers,

Nice.

Can you tell how heavy it is on cpu?

At least time for an Open Beta, after all, being a 'New' DAW I doubt whether any one would take existing project from another DAW and be thinking of completing them in Bitwig, until they know a good proportion of the features.

Surely it's time for 'Try Before you Buy Beta Phase'.

That's what a demo is for. Why would you want potential customers finding bugs in an unfinished product?

And I believe the beta phase has been going on for about 2 years? Since the original youtube announcement. Granted that's a long time. But hopefully they have used it to get all the kinks worked out. I'm as antsy as anybody and expecting it by the end of the year.
