Mister Palm is a independent company for Apps and Plugins

Waldorf Music with Largo, PPG v3.0 is also an another company. Palm has left Waldorf Music a lot of years.
This is not totally true. Wolfgang Palm was part of the Beta tester and sound designer team for PPG Wave 3.V and AFAIK he was also involved with development (or at least involved as a consultant).
What is sure is that all new wavetables and a bunch of factory presets in PPG Wave 3.V are from him.

This has meaning to me coming from you Stefan, thank you.

I was thinking the same thing Ingo, you are correct. It was while working on that project i learned a valuable technique for synth programing through a correspondence with Mr. Palm. I had no idea it would eventually lead to me doing synth programming for PPG.

PPG WaveGenerator is a very special and unique synth. The VSTi version is even more refined and elegant. It is an absolute pleasure to use.

Can you elaborate a bit on "more refined and elegant"? In what way?

Yes please ^^^ what he said.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Wow, I am very excited about this. I upgraded my old iPad 1 to an iPad Air and am enjoying music-making apps much more now. Even on the iPad 1, I agreed with the opinion that Wavegenerator is one of the apps that at least *felt* as powerful as any of the PC/Mac software synths.

The fact that patches can be transferred from the iPad app to the PC/Mac version the thing that really has me going. It means that it is possible to do sound design with Wavegenerator from an iPad. Of course, you all know this, but I just had to throw my voice out there.

Does anyone know if the number of activations is limited in some way? I can't find any text on the website about that.

Peace,
Andy.

It's limited to one device. Maybe the text on the web site should be updated a bit.

OK, thanks for the info. Presumably the plugin can be de-activated and moved to a different partition? Or at least, we can contact support to request that?

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm considering migrating my audio setup to Mac OS 10.9, so this might affect me in the near future.

Peace,
Andy.
