Except somewhere in this thread it was confirmed that video playback would not be included in version 1, so I stand by my statement as it pertains to me and what I would use it for. That one feature eliminated BW's usage for me in version 1. I'm still interested for the reasons I mentioned (which were quoted later), but I have no interest in buying until the features I need are implemented... and that really makes perfect sense for anyone. It's not complete yet. Beta 7 added quite a few features not in beta 6. Based on Dom's earlier post, it sounds like Beta 8 is going to add even more features.
Basically, v1.0 is not feature complete yet but we can only speculate about what will be included. IMO, VST side chain input is highly likely, otherwise a whole class of plugins (Compressors) are basically useless, not to mention lots of FX.
