Once again, companies making promises comes back to shoot them in the foot.
You figure they would learn not to say anything, or, it'll be out when it's out.

the type of world we live in... there was a review of iLoud posted on futureproducers.com... i had a question about this statement...
"The good news is that it also sounds significantly better than many of its cheaper rivals, and - as its name suggests - delivers plenty of volume."
the part of about sounds significantly better than "many" of the its "cheaper rivals"
what does that mean? so i asked about the comparison with Bose SoundLink Mini... which i think sounds the best out of all the "cheaper rivals"...
so the rep came back with "iRig Circuit with an input for guitar/bass/dynamic microphones/keyboards and 10 hour battery life"... i do not play the guitar, bass, or sing...
so i asked... i guess those are the selling points but the sound of iLoud is compariable to "cheaper rivals"...
for me that is $100 in savings buying the SoundLink Mini...because i do not need iRig Circuit with an input for guitar/bass/dynamic microphones/keyboards...
i said thanks and you have been very informative... i was happy i made the right decision with the soundlink mini... and the next thing you know... i am BANNED!!! my posts were deleted... the post where the rep could not answer my questions were delete also... i.e. only his positive responses remain...
we live in a crazy world... i just pray Sampletank 3 comes out flawless... because if it is not... i do not have the power to BAN but do have the power to state my opinions...

Yes, we also use project plans and just like any other company - stuff happens, things change, we adapt. Again, that jobs link is there if you think you can add something better and put your money where your mouth is.
No idea what another forum where we don't have any say over things and another product have anything to do with SampleTank 3 but we are quite fond of the OT here, so I shouldn't be surprised. Edit - and I looked for any instance where IK stated what you quote and found nothing. Maybe you should be taking it up with MusicRadar and maybe the people at FP thought so too? Don't know, seems to still have about zero relevance to the topic at hand, other than trying to demonize Obi, but what do I know.

Right, you're not biased AT ALL. I thought you canceled your account sale? Since that may not be the case, let me be the first to sincerely thank you for the new customer(s) and future upgrades, purchases, and creation of music by said new customer. Warms my heart that you will help with the future success of IK, so thank you very much.murnau wrote:thats true! after i sold all my IK products i can stay positive!

Well, we are a business after all but you seemed to have missed the part about "creation of music by said new customer" too. We are lucky to be successful in what really is a niche market, and I was thanking you sincerely for your help. Staying in business doing something in a field that one loves IS certainly important and is indeed the most important thing because it would pretty much suck to have boring jobs in a boring field.murnau wrote:yeah, i canceled it here. it was more coincidence but anyway. glad i could help your bosses make more money. seems anyway thats the only thing that count for you over there at IK.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Right, you're not biased AT ALL. i can tell you one thing for sure... the reps are not on the same page... one sez they do use projects plans and the other sezs they do things their way... ok?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:Yes, we also use project plans and just like any other company -
sounds like a song... i would write it but it has been documented that it is your idea/thought..stuff happens, things change, we adapt.
i believe i answered this already... it is about being conductive to my work habits... again... it appears that the internet reps are not even on the same page... i.e. project plan or no project plan... you guys are a little confusing sometimes..Again, that jobs link is there if you think you can add something better
funny... i put my money where my mouth was when i brought Sampletank... look how you are addressing me now... no thanks!!!and put your money where your mouth is.
funny!!! you were log-in at futureproducers.com when i was posting... another funny thing!!! you log-off after i got BAN...No idea what another forum where we don't have any say over things
if you go back and read my posts... they are about how ik multimedia treats their customers... go back and read this thread... you guys make predictions that do not come thru but you guys make it appear that is the userbase fault... and you talk about not being surprised!!!and another product have anything to do with SampleTank 3 but we are quite fond of the OT here, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Peter - do you remember you offering me a license for a ik multimedia product because you were sooooooooooooooooooo sure Sampletank 3 was coming out in 2013... remember i turned it down? remember? you see where putting your money where your mouth is gets you... it egg now!!!

You have been banned more times than I can count on numerous forums. Every time you do, you create a new account and go back to your old ways. I've only been on these same forums for the last 10+ish years learning and participating. Its not hard, I've seen you doing this for years.neverenoughfunk wrote:...ObiK wrote:We also have our own work habits we like to adhere to, like not trashing on our own company's internal work process and deadlines. On Gearslutz? You were art blakey. Before that, you were cool breeze and before that you were never enough funk.
You've been banned a few times from the Propellerhead AND Abelton forums.
Banned from FutureProducers multiple times under the same account names (Pretty original really) and have taken a special interest in harassing particular users like Kev West. (And now IK for calling you out on these trolling/harassing accounts and posts)
I don't generally play into these types of threads that are just blatant and unwarranted attacks for no real reason besides your mere amusement. So after this post don't expect a reply from me.
TLDR: So, you got banned from FutureProducers? Again? Like, again again? Like again after the time after the last that was after the last, last time? I am so surprised.
