this situation is not Peter fault at all... it is IK Multimedia themselves... think about it for every day Sampletank 3 is not released... IK Multimedia could have a another group buy (it is X-MAS time!!!)... $200 for the workstation i.e. sampletank, sonic synth, etc, etc, etc... the rules for the group buy are... if 1000 join the group buy you will get some free "sh!t"... if 2000 join... you get more free "shit"... you do the math!!! the current version of Sampletank has been paid for for years... all these sales are gravy... now i believe that Sampletank 3 will be announced at NAMM and released the end of the first quarter 2014...i also believe that is enough time for about another 3 to 4 group buys...clear profit... i know if i ran IK Multimedia that is what i would do!!!

fyi... most companies use project plans... that is how they track expenses of the project... but IK Multimedia is different... ok?

what does that mean? so i asked about the comparison with Bose SoundLink Mini... which i think sounds the best out of all the "cheaper rivals"...

so the rep came back with "iRig Circuit with an input for guitar/bass/dynamic microphones/keyboards and 10 hour battery life"... i do not play the guitar, bass, or sing...

so i asked... i guess those are the selling points but the sound of iLoud is compariable to "cheaper rivals"...

for me that is $100 in savings buying the SoundLink Mini...because i do not need iRig Circuit with an input for guitar/bass/dynamic microphones/keyboards...

No idea what another forum where we don't have any say over things and another product have anything to do with SampleTank 3 but we are quite fond of the OT here, so I shouldn't be surprised. Edit - and I looked for any instance where IK stated what you quote and found nothing. Maybe you should be taking it up with MusicRadar and maybe the people at FP thought so too? We are lucky to be successful in what really is a niche market, and I was thanking you sincerely for your help. Staying in business doing something in a field that one loves IS certainly important and is indeed the most important thing because it would pretty much suck to have boring jobs in a boring field.
