I haven't got a real letter for decades now. Today it is all emails and even worse: people who write to a an imaginary big audience on Facebook and other "social media" about their dinner, broken nails, holes in their stockings, the color of their children's poo and God knows what irrelevant topics that will give them an excuse to abuse the words "I", "me", "my" and "mine" in an endless orgy of legitimized egocentrism. Richly illustrated with perfectly arranged pictures taken with their smartphones
This is what Romero's Zombie trilogy really is about: Civilization turned into a big disgusting mass of mindless consumers that consume for the sake of consuming. And when there is no one else left to consume, they will consume themselves until they are nothing but pools of self-digested rotten meat.
Thus I urge you all to send a musical letter to someone you really care about other than yourself before it is too late. The world is coming to an end and tomorrow we could all be dead .
