What does the "Complete collection of GarageBand instruments and sounds $4.99"
in Top In-App Purchases mean? Is there some additional soundset available?

If you have garageband already installed, some of the stuff is locked. Pay to unlock it all. It does support inter-app audio instruments and effects. Works with midi keyboard also.

I just got a new iPad Air, installed Garageband and it seems to be the same as before. But I have not tested anything else like inter-app. And I really don't know where to look for the locked stuff, if there is any.

Same here i got the new ipad air and installed garageband. However some stuff was locked. If you select keyboard, press on the grand piano and you should see a bunch of keyboards and a bunch of them should be greyed out. Also in the main page, press on instruments in the top left corner. Are you guys downloading the free version or did you already own Garageband from before iOS 7?

Mine's the free version but I updated to full for 4.99. It was worth it to get a bunch of free instruments and an amp sim. Didn't own this berfore ios 7
