Wow pretty nice! :) I like what you did, many cool instruments there. I will definitely package those with the final download if that is okay with you.

I would be happy if you include my sounds in the factory bank :) , so you can do it...

And I would like to make some sounds for tunefish 4 when it will be finish...

Okay found one more issue. Some of you have experienced crashes when you randomized or attached LFO to frequency and made it go crazy. Turns out the frequency can go to negative values and tunefish doesn't like that. Well actually it does not care now. I played around a lot with randomizing buttons and I sure hope this is it with those random crashes (although to be honest, I'd be surprised if that was the last of those bugs :)

Shame pitch bend is not implemented. Hope to see it in v4.
However, lots of crazy pitch effects possible with use of OSC frequency parameter, specially combined with ADSRs and LFO's. I've also automated for pitched risers.

Here's a tip - not pretty but it is a workaround if ADSR2 not used yet -
set ADSR2 to modulate OSC frequency, all values except Sustain to zero, and move the S parameter until you reach the pitch of played note - near the top. You can now achieve a pitch bend effect of sorts by automating this value.

Note - I'm using SpiralCM to monitor the pitch for this - hope not against the rules as does not affect the sound in any way. Its a fantastic plugin to show you what is happening with all sounds!

Hmm... thinking of implementing it... how is the sensitivity usually done? +/- one semitone? configurable?

Thanks!, If have some extra time next month I will make more sounds for tunefish...

Ok, I implemented pitch bend now. Works fine in savihost, it's fixed to +/- one semitone. I could make it configurable, too, if this is important :)

Well here is my unfinished entry :

I would like to know what you think...
It has many "bugs", sometimes it doesn't sound good etc, its only what I have make until now, and I wouldn't have enough time to finish it.

DAW used: OpenModPlugTracker.

Tunefish 3 used.

36 instances of tunefish used.

External FX:

Meldacompressor.
Ambience.

I hope next month I will have more freetime.

Only thing I had to change in savihost is reduce the package size. It sits at 4410 samples per package default which is much too high. around 1000 works fine for me

Very well done so far :) You put some great work into the sound design, I always love it when somebody does something with tunefish and I do not recognize my synth. Shame you cannot finish it in time, I'd love to hear the final.

Flash strikes again :) I just nipped off for dinner, come back and its done!

Usually it's configurable in semitones, as a regular pitchbend can be half or whole note. More than 2 semitones can be good too.

Off to test it now...

Post

I usually bend 2 semitones up and 1 or 2 octaves down (for divebombs)

Ah, so I better make them configurable seperately :) Good info. Thank god I did not start implementing it yet ;)
