Incidentally I think this is an important part of the success of 2CAudio: I am personally an artist/composer/producer/creative-type. I do real music both with real people on real projects, as well as my own solo material. This keeps me in touch with the needs of the real world. (Though I will generally always er on the side of exploring extreme quality and bleeding edge ideas that may be resource intensive by their innate nature.)

At this point in our company development I actually design most of the mathematical functionality of our algs as well, and I am highly technical in these regards. But I am the "what" and "why" guy of our team. Denis is more of the "how" guy -- at least with regard to "how can we realistically make XYZ DSP idea a real marketable product?" He specializes in ASM optimizations, and memory management, and all the necessary systems coding to make things work properly with all the various standards. I don't think in these ways. I think in terms of aesthetics, and the pure mathematics of these aesthetics, and ultimately their application in the real world.

This has proven to be a powerful combination... :!:

and we will demonstrate more positive results of this method shortly...

Can't really afford B2, but obviously you are one hell of a talent ! :tu:
Thanks man... FYI, I used Breeze on some of the compositions too.

You can see which is which by looking at the end of the play lists here:

Is there a way to understand the difference to Breeze as the processor ?

Breeze can be thought of as something similar to a single B2 engine, but with a very constrained set of parameter ranges, far less filter options, no Attitude/distortion, no dynamics, and no oversampling/quality-options.

With a few exceptions, Breeze is designed to make it very hard to get a bad sounding preset by accident. B2 is wide open, and can create perfectly awful sounding presets intentionally if you like b/c often they are interesting for sound-design purposes. It gives you MUCH more power, and hence requires more responsibly/knowledge/learning if you want to go beyond simply using presets.

Breeze was originally designed to be more of a musician's/performer's tool than an engineer's tool. Breeze is very simple. B2 is very nerdy.

Breeze provides awesome sounding ambiance/space/reverb at a reasonably light CPU usage cost. Simple. Light. Pristine. That is what it does.

B2 is much harder to describe in a short sentence b/c it is very diverse. The best I have come up with so far is:
B2 is a modular dual-engine, non-linear spatial processor featuring built-in harmonic distortion and flexible dynamics. It offers epically lush and deep reverb as well as mind-bending creative effects that defy classification.

It was a little tough at times writing the B2 review in SoundBytes, as it is hard
to describe something that sounds so incredible, and can do just about anything.

Hopefully I got the point across :)

:D - thank's Andrew - I've been trying for ages to convince film directors to go that route...but working the normal way round is also fun.
