I "applied" but never heard back from them. It's just as well - I'm currently beta testing other RE's right now that are taking my time. One is from a well-known and respected dev and I can't wait until it hits the store - it's a must-have! :)
I bet it's silky smooth. :)

Knobs only would be fine with me. It's more important for us to be using our ears anyway, but if necessary it's so easy (F2) to call up the spectrum analyzer in R7 at any time to identify problematic frequencies that might not be audibly obvious.

Hm. Linplug? Maybe not, they seem to be busy with their new Spectral synth these days.
Well known RE dev or VST dev with their first RE?... I guess time will show.

Good catch! I didn't read carefully enough. I thought I knew the dev, but now I'm not so sure. Intriguing. :)

So is it some sort of taxidermist drone cat now?! Cat lovers rejoice! Meanwhile everyone else wonders why the hell someone would bother doing something like that?!

So it's something other than Satin?

Yeah, this is totally unrelated to U-He or Satin RE. One of them has already had a teaser announced on his FB page:

It's Selig. The other hasn't been teased yet so it'll have to remain quiet for now, but suffice to say - many producers should enjoy it. :)

I think the Props are going to lose a lot of sales now that the forum is down. I don't bother going there anymore and I certainly won't be going to the online RE shop until this is sorted.

Wow - that won't stop me from checking out sales that are bound to pop up during the holidays. Your loss!

I do agree they'll lose sales while the forums are down, though.

ne1 know of good Reason 7 learning resources?

Groove3.com has Reason 6 explained and effects and instruments explained but no 6.5 or 7.

Reason 7 Power! book supposedly coming out in December. Don't know if picking up Reason 6 Power! book is worth it.

Any other resources to look at to learn more about Reason 7?

For years my favorite online training site for audio has usually been macprovideo.com for all sorts of apps and production technique. It's not that Mac specific, but they do have a sister site called AskVideo.com which was probably created to be more platform neutral. Either way they both have a bunch of Reason video training content, including for version 7. Here are their latest sets:

Sounds good. Selig is top class. I've still yet to find a VST equivalent to Leveler.

MachineClaw wrote:Flying cats! oh my! that's really too funny!

I think it's odd and funny that the Props have shutdown their forums as a preventative measure just incase someone might actually try and maybe hit them.

instead of deleting and paying attention to all the spam that has been posted in their forums for the past 2 weeks. way to be on top of things!

Puppeteer anyone? - Larry Niven reference, books - those things with pages and words. yeah way to intellectual I know. carry on!

LOVE the cat pics! LOL.
Knowing Props they will probably get around to it in about 6 months or so :D they probably gave Mattias the responsibility of running the whole forum, while also running the blog, creating tutorials, and doing presentations.

There's something extremely not funny about those pictures.
Totally agree! I know the cat on the picture is dead, but it sends a signal to all the people who lacks empathy out there that this is a fun thing to do.
Yeah, I agree.. a bit immature. And creepy.
