thanx WoK! i love one trick ponys! but i dont understand and must ask: whats the benefit over simply reverse the audio within the daw with one click?

2. you can adjust the mix between normal / reversed audio
3. you can place this behind a synth and switch it on while playing
4. you can switch it on and off or adjust the mix amount live
5. 2-4 can be automated in the host or controlled by MIDI CC

The mix knob has its charm, so it's fun to combine original and reversed sounds. That's easier than making a reversed and a non-reversed track in a DAW...

But my way of implementation may differ, because it works nearly in realtime. For an effect plugin to play back audio reversed, the audio would have to be played until the end first - causing a giant latency. My plugin takes small portions of the incoming audio and reverses them - it's not the same, but sounds similar, and can be used nearly realtime.
