How to expand the Chord Progression window?

Running the full demo on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Some of the progressions are cut off on the right side of the window & I can't seem to make the window larger by dragging the bottom right corner. Any suggestions?

If it helps mbira1, there is a scroll bar on the bottom; you will see a magnifier on either side. You can pull this one way or the other to scroll your measures.
Also, be sure you have the time line expanded to see the full measure. When you hover the mouse in the time line (far right edge) it will change to a double ended arrow. Then you can expand or contract the time line to increase the number of measures.
I would like to see the old way (v1) with lines stacked and a limit of 8 measures. It works better for me although the current way does too, somewhat.
Happy Musiking!

Thanks, dsan, but that isn't what I was referring to. I meant the Chord Progression Browser window, that lists all the chord progressions. Some of the longer ones get cut off on the right side of this window.

Do you have at least a 1600 pixel-wide display? I use RC on a full-HD monitor, and no issues. Manual states 1600 pixels wide as minimum recommended resolution.

mbira1, you are right! On 10.6.8 the browser windows cannot be resized. I cannot believe that, it works on 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9. This will be fixed ASAP.

It boggles my mind how vociferous and gung ho apple aficionados proclaim the superiority of the Mac/ OS/X for music.mbira1 wrote:"It used to work, but they finally fixed it..."
Gotta love Apple....
My Win7 x64 still runs my Windows 95 software. I see that Pro Tool 11 users are SOL since it won't run on Maverick.
O/S that abandon programs on each iteration is the most fantastic money making idea I've ever heard of!

You are right, but to be fair this time it was my mistake.

I have a suggestion about the chord chooser in Rapid Composer:
What about making it show musically related chords instead of just listing each and every chord?
After I've bought this wonderful program, I'll concretize my suggestion and put it in a feature request.
Here comes a shameless peek to some competitors:
I apologize in case I've overlooked a similar feature already present in Rapid Composer.

I believe this is incorporated ... but the new manual doesn't appear to detail it, although I may have missed that as I didn't review all the music theory chapter.
You must first set a chord and scale type in the composition inspector. Chords that are incompatible with progressions in that chosen key/ scale type show up as red when inserted in the composition.
At the bottom of the chord palette there are suggestions for chord substitutions, although often you must add additional choices, e.g., #5, to the chord before it fits and turns from red to black.
It is not clear from the palette window whether these are substitution choices or progression paths. Also, don't overlook the 'More Chords' box and the 'Palette' box. RC's chord palette has three different overlapping views depending upon which version of the window is open.
I think all the information from Harmony Navigator's palette is there, but the graphic presentation and documentation are somewhat lacking in RC.
