LuSH-101

Hi guys,

Just quick info that we've updated LuSH-101 to version 1.1.0, but the most important thing it introduces multi-core support and GUI was rendered in almost HD resolution :)

edit:

Bumped because of the LuSH-101 v1.1.1 (with selectable GUI size) release

Cheers,
Sebastian / D16

updating!

Worse than the last version for me. Live 9 (32bit), Windows 7. Complete overload even on Single Zone Presets. :(

You need to enable multi-core support manually (if of course your CPU has more than one core):

If that won't help, please visit http://www.d16.pl/support and submit an issue ticket.

Great update !!! Thank you so much! Love the new larger GUI. Just wanted to report one thing about the Multi Core support. luSH 101 only uses Cores # 1,3,5, and 7 on my i7 3770K. The synthesis page shows Status: 8 Cores running. This is confirmed in both Sonar X2 and Reaper. Just thought I would mention it......... :)

Excellent news! I assume the demo was updated as well? Going to give it another go...

Kudos for reacting to user input!

I guess it doesn't use hyperthreaded cores then.

Just tried the update and seems more CPU hungry to me.

On default (initialized) patch, Lush idles at 10%cpu. Playing a single note brings that to 15%.

After switching-on multicore support I see that 8 threads are running, but the idle CPU consumption has now jumped to 17-22%, with a single note played bumping this to 25%

My CPU : intel i7 q720 (4 cores, 8 threads)
Tested in FLstudio10, 32bit version

With very few voices of polyphony used, the CPU load of thread management (which is additional cost of multi-core support) can significantly increase CPU resources' consumption, that's why you can notice bigger CPU usage with multi-core enabled. Increase polyphony or load preset with bigger CPU usage to feel benefits of multi-core support.
