For the multicore thing i would think its the same limitations as diva. On my i7 sandy diva usually only uses the physical cores as well. However I remember testing against someone else and it appeared that if you were using windows 8 there was a chance it would actually spread across hyperthreads as well. We had the same processor, same host, same diva version, but windows 8 taskmgr would show all 8 in use while my win7 would only show 4
I think the gui size should be selectable though, this new size might be fine for my desktop, but I think it might be unusable on my laptop

It might be a problem. Lush-101 looks beautifully on my 24' screen and I can see all sliders and buttons here - finally, coz the older versions required lenses to adjust any parameter.ezelkow1 wrote:I think the gui size should be selectable though, this new size might be fine for my desktop, but I think it might be unusable on my laptop
It takes about 70% of my screen width (resolution 1920*1200) so not sure if the whole window will be visible on smaller screen.

I'm not knocking Lush, its sounds great and their are some nice presents, however, its essentially half a dozen of the same (101) plug in that can be mapped/layered and arped..you can do that with most DAWS (you can certainly do it with Live) - for the same CPU hit you could play a couple of Zebra Arps (simultaneously) with a Diva lead (picking a different sound OSC) etc - I guess its just a case of the convenience of having LUSH in one window/VSTi rather than triggering multiple devices? It is fun, I like the way it sounds, the GUI and the way it layers and Arps- I just think that its a little overpriced.Teksonik wrote:It's only "one trick" if you don't have many tricks......SLiC wrote: A little 'one trick' compared to say DivaFor instance can DIVA have 8 Arps running at the same time ?
Having said that I do plan to buy DIVA at some point....I've enjoyed the demo versions in the past.

I think they mention it on their website that optional sizes are being planned somewhere along the development line...ezelkow1 wrote:I think the gui size should be selectable though, this new size might be fine for my desktop, but I think it might be unusable on my laptop

Great job on this update. I liked the sound of Lush when it released but the cpu consumption made it a no go for me and really made me dislike the synth. This time it runs great on my system with a few instances going vs struggling to run one before.m00gie wrote:Hi guys,
Just quick info that we've updated LuSH-101 to version 1.1.0, but the most important thing it introduces multi-core support and GUI was rendered in almost HD resolution

That's where I went wrong.Teksonik wrote:For instance I believe FL Studio's meter still only shows the first core's activity.
I measured CPU use now with the Task Manager and it's quite a lot lower than reported by FLstudio. Thanks for the info.
Just hoping now for a re-sizeable GUI. The original size was fine for me personally. I can see how it would be too small for some, but I would like the option to choose.
