okay in order to test the stretch function a bit I made a quick tune....
Oh my Soul
Host: Tracktion
VSTi: one isntance of SampleTank2
Samples: Drums (BrushDry), Bass (FretlessAcoustic), Piano (Upright), Pad (Butterflies) & the "Oh my soul" phrase of course
FX: only the internal ST2 effects - which are killer
cheers,
mully

Wow Alex. You are quick study. I have had ST2 for half a year and still haven't got the hang of Stretch.

Stretch isn't too complicated - though I guess it sounds better when using the pitchbend on vocals (which I haven't done)
note to myself: "must use pitchbend more often"

Hey Beared one - This is a bit OT, but I just noticed that you are in Montreal.
I'm in Plattsburgh,NY, so that makes us almost neighbors!
Anyway, I followed the link to your site, and listened to "Morseuth"
You have some serious guitar chops - just wanted to let you know I (as a guitar player myself) I think your playing is tasty and smart.
Cheers,
DJSL

Thanks for checking out my music MickGael,
Sorry but I have to disappoint you about my chops in Morseuth. I did not play live guitar in that one. I used pHATMatikPro to slice a loop or two from a real guitar player named Horse that was part of the loop collection supplied for the KVR loop slicing contest a while back.
I do play some guitar and if you check out "After Silence" "Reflections Guitar" or "Riffing" you will get an idea of my guitar chops such as they are.
Glad to hear we're neighbours and I often fish in your neck of the woods.
Cheers,
Gordon

okay.... I'm not desperatly trying to get this thread on-topic again BUT
I just layed down some guitars and vocals to the track - just to see how ST2 sounds like playing along with me..... and since this is a strange and new way of writing songs for me - it sounds quite different....
Multree - make it good
hope you like it.... and don't pay attention to the loosely played stuff... it's just a try.... maybe someone even likes it
cheers,
mully
