I don't think so, because it will be a separate app that could be used by any IAA host.

It says in the description of Nanologue: "Nanologue brings the power of VST 3 technology to the iOS platform."
What VST 3 power did it bring?
What VST 3 power did it bring?

If you get too hung up on marketing-speak, you're gonna have a bad time....

Judging from last experience, you're gonna have a bad time no matter what.

Emergeaudio explains quite well above I think, it is marketing speak... So add salt, but think they are highlighting the fact that vst can be wrapped rather than a specific power.BMoore wrote:It says in the description of Nanologue: "Nanologue brings the power of VST 3 technology to the iOS platform."

Hello all,
On iOS final users will not notice the difference between a VST 2 iOS plug-in and a VST 3.
This technology (for the time being) will benefit developers only.
The new SDK for VST 3.6 now allows developers to compile the code for iOS compatibility with Inter-App Audio support, turning the VST development kit into a platform capable of outputting four different formats conveniently from one technology source.
Best regards,
GN

Congrats to Steinberg. You can always count on them to significantly raise the bar in Daw-land
