No knobby analogue synth in view (my 'knobby' controller is at the back wall), but this is how my mixing session looks like:do_androids_dream wrote:yep, darkened room, a knobby analogue synth(sliders just wont do) with blinking LFO led's...crimsonwarlock wrote:The mandatory lavalamp

Indeed, I've definitely have shown my love to the video game community with an obligatory Tetris Theme remix, I just finished a remix of the Zelda NES Dungeon theme, and on my album there is...not really a remix, I call it a "rearrangement" of the Spy Vs Spy NES theme.do_androids_dream wrote:crimsonwarlock wrote:The mandatory lavalamp
the video game thing is a good one - i'm quite a gamer and the atmosphere in some games definitely inspires me to write.

Coffee, tea, smokes + beer (for evening sessions). Food is a distraction. I tend to work until I absolutely have to eat and then stop for 2 or 3 hours. I like to listen to Opeth (the really heavy stuff) during those breaks in recording when I need to empty my head. It tends to empty the house too (if it isn't already)

yep, there's one in the right hand corner too - made them myself. Around 10cm deep fibreglass board tightly wrapped to a wooden frame with a couple of canvas sheets. Cost me around £30 each with all materials from my local building supplier.crimsonwarlock wrote: Nice 'n compactDo I see a basstrap? Hope to build basstraps myself soon.
