The Metronome

How can I get the metronome to follow what I set in the Structure inspector? Is it always going to be clicking at 4/4 time? I was trying to do a 6/8 thing and it's a real put off having the click going at 4 beats to the bar all the time. I just bought it hours ago, so I'm probably missing something. This is a frustrating limitation in BIAB too, everything has to be in 4/4 time, a 6/8 is mathematically computed to 4/4 in that program.

The metronome follows the 'Beats Per Bar' setting in the Structure inspector. With the default settings it is not easy to hear the difference between the strong accent (bar) and weak accent (beat) metronome notes, but if you right click on the metronome icon, you can set different MIDI notes as well as volumes for the two accents.
