...or would we need to uninstall the current demo program & download the new one with bug fixes?
Thank you once again, Attila, for your attentiveness!
Do bug fixes apply to demo versions also?

I am sorry I did not realize this topic. Sometimes everything is set to 'read' status without reading them.
Yes, bug fixes are applied to demo versions too. Please download the demo, and install it over the previous version. You don't have to uninstall it if you want to keep your existing settings. Since v2.5 'uninstall' on Windows removes all settings and everything from the AppData\RapidComposer directory, so if you want to do a clean install and don't mind if your phrases and settings get lost, you can 'uninstall' the program first.
Thanks,
Attila

On OS X all resources and databases are stored in ~/Documents/RapidComposerV2
So if you delete the RapidComposerV2 folder, next time you start the program, it will set it up again from its resources. You may need to preserve your CustomPhrases folder so that your phrases don't get lost.
But in theory you never have to do this. All updates will be able to use the settings of an older version.
Thanks,
Attila
