Downloadable at http://www.GrooveMonkee.com
Right side, download "Trance 20 pack."
Cakewalk users can use these with Session Drummer. To do so, save the all inclusive file into your 'drum styles' folder.
E.g. C:\Cakewalk\Sonar\Drum Styles
The twenty midi grooves are based on 3 main beats - heavy Latin flavor.
Enjoy!

Hey munchkin,
The Funk, Hip Hop and R&B set has section of house beats but played more from a drummer's perspective (without all the extra percussion). The latest stuff is probably more what you're looking for(has all kinds of layered percussion).
I have some samples from the existing set that I could send you - I took 'em down to post the 20 pack. Just drop me an email (you or anyone).
At the moment, I am working on some techno/house/trance/dance stuff as well as jazz, Latin, AfroCuban, etc.
2,400 beats down - only about 2,600 to go!

Thanks for the reply GrooveMonkee. I'll buy the funk/hip hop collection and I'll definitly buy the dance collection when it's ready. The layered percussion is what I'm after because that makes a dance groove stand out. Will you start to offer samples to go with the midi loops? Or maybe an mp3 demo for each section of midi loops would be useful to provide an example of how they might sound.GrooveMonkee wrote:Hey munchkin,

Do you mean loops or audio (e.g. .wav) samples?
I did have some simple .mp3 samples posted but took them down. I can put them up on a new page if you'd prefer to check them out but to me, it's all about how they'll sound with your setup, not mine.munchkin wrote: Or maybe an mp3 demo for each section of midi loops would be useful to provide an example of how they might sound.
For the multi-layered stuff, shoot me an email and I'll send you a 100 beats or so as I'd be interested in your opinions. I won't release anything until others have evaluated it extensively.
Thanks again

Perhaps you could do one mp3 highlighting some of the loops. I'd be interested to hear the multi-layered loops, email's on its way.GrooveMonkee wrote:I did have some simple .mp3 samples posted but took them down.
