I "can" play drums from keyboard but if I really need drumming, are there any (iPad) apps for that? Meaning real acoustic drums.

I have an app coming out that will take care of all your "ezdrummer" needs. It's called Drum Session and will be released shortly after the beginning of the year I hope. Here's a sample of what it can do... Drum Session will have 10 different drum kits all EQ'd to their own particular style and will have their own set of loops and fills (about 3000 in all) everything from pop/rock, jazz, punk, hard rock, metal, funk, ballads, indie, blues, country, blues/rock, etc. You will be able to audition a loop by pressing it and drag it into a timeline for song construction. Very simple, yet powerful tool. All drum kit pieces have been carefully recorded with room reverbs, EQ and panning already set to their optimal levels and settings...they sound perfect right out of the gate so you can concentrate on creating a pro track in just minutes. I'm partnering with the Blue Mangoo (the guys behind the iFretless apps). More later!
