Does this support microtuning and custom scales (without having to use the mouse keyboard)?

Post

Question:

Does PPG WaveGenerator work in Logic X with Metaplugin?
I'm finding the PPG WaveGen VST isn't showing up in Bidule AU though other VSTs show up and it is showing up under standalone Bidule.

No it doesn't support microtuning; custom scales can be set up on the mouse keyboard.

OK that was the shortest amount of time I have taken to demo something - just a run through of the first few patches convinced me to buy - absolutely gorgeous sounds.

There does seem to be a small bug - when I play the filter controls using my Kore controller the cutoff amount doesn't change in the gui although I can hear that it is changing sonically.

Post

btw I have made a template for using this in Kore - better than the numerical controls which I don't like

That should be fixed in the next update.

Thanks - can you also make it possible to automate the osc tuning - only fine tuning is available

I'm a real sucker for wavetable stuff. It was also very pleasant to have this up and running perfectly in my DAW literally 5 minutes from when I first saw the video demonstration and went on to buy it. It's a pretty harsh contrast to all the draconian copy protection bullshit I've had to deal with lately.

It runs and sounds like a dream!

How do you get the plugin to react to aftertouch? I can see patches are set up for aftertouch as I can use it if I play on the mouse keyboard but I don't want to use that - too clunky - I want to use my controller keyboard

edit - actually I see now it does respond to aftertouch but it is having a different effect on the sound than moving the mouse up and down on the mouse keys - what I would like is to get it to do the same for both

Getting lots of crashes of various hosts - eg Bidule and Kore, when using continuous midi signals (such as from my V-Synth D beams or Hartman Neuron Nuke controller joystick)

Post

Hmmm. By "continuous midi signals" you mean "lots of them", right?
While I have neither the mentioned hosts nor the controllers, THIS is something I should be able to check.
