Coo... Hope this is coming to the UK in the shape of a Music Tech or Computer Music coverdisc soon?

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

Is the ST2/SS2 engine capable of managing midi CC's, for instance if you want to produce one of those 80's cliched moog slides, will you have to manually setup portamento, or will the preset do it for you. It's great to see that you have included each version of the synth on (PPG/Moog etc), it really highlights the dedication and synth knowledge of your company, as well as honouring the users with the same apreciation and respect in synth knowledge.
BTW did any Casio's make the grade, I know they're crap synths...but I like crap synths. I especially love Casio drum sounds.
One final question in relation to the reason sonic refills, is there much crossover between the drum ranges (Vintage/Monster/Reality) and that which will appear on SS2, as I know SS2 concentrates on elec drums, but I expect there will be acoustic drums too. Only that 3-pack drum deal looks very nice.

Midi CC can be mapped to any parameter in both SampleTank 2 and Sonik Synth 2.
The old Casio drum sounds are actually in there as well as a ton of old analog beatbox drums and newer analog drum sounds as well as some acoustic kits and the variety of drums the first Sonic Synth had (from hip hop to rock to jungle kits to weird processed stuff). There is some crossover with the use of electronic drum machines like 808s, 909s etc. Those are what they are to some extent although we have different samples that we use in different situations. There is a load of new 909 stuff I did for Sonik Synth 2 that wasn't on anything before (as well as the Casio drums and even a Casio CZ101 flute sound). Anyway, that 3-pack deal on www.esoundz.com is a pretty serious deal. You'd like it too I bet. Some unusual stuff in there as well as the Rex files which are very nice.
