So for their 200th issue CM is coming up big

Just got the latest issue today, with this annoucement that Rapture will be given away free next issue (no 200), which ships January 2nd.

So as z3ta+ was magware before becoming z3ta+ 2, maybe there is a Rapture 2 in the works as well?

Yeah, most def, I already got Rapture, but something like this probably means Cakewalk got some plans for it in the future as well

A new version of both Rapture and Dimension Pro, fully compatible with the most recent versions of Mac OS X (something the current ones aren't), was in the works. I think that the process of transferring of Cakewalk ownership from Roland to Gibson group delayed that. Hopefully, they will be retaken.

It's really time to update both Rapture and Dimension pro synths and specially their GUIs. Hope update prices are reasonable when time comes.

This deal is sort of an investment for Cakewalk in free publicity for Rapture.

I would think they would want to get something out that investment, instead of burying Rapture.

I've had Z3ta/2 and DimPro for years and held off on Rapture. Finally the price got really low a few months ago, so I got it.

Not low enough, apparently.

In any event, glad to hear that development is continuing. Always a good thing.

I wouldn't be so sure either that Rapture gets an update. I guess zeta was much more successful, and why back the wrong horse.
