This worked. Thanks! I guess it required a whole new install and not just a patch.. 6.3 GB!thejonsolo wrote:Ok you have to go to http://www.steinberg.net/en/support/grace_period.html and enter your eLicenser number. Downloading now!

Will there be a boxed version of the 7->7.5 Update? The Steinberg shop doesn't show the option, but I wasn't sure if it would be offered in the future or not.
I suppose another question would be: If you buy the download version, does it update your license on your USB licenser automatically or do they send you a code so you can activate the update the license at a later time?

from what I understood, vendors will have the boxes, the Borgz will be download only. The box only contains the HS2-SE content, you still have to download the 7.5 installer.theoryzero wrote:Will there be a boxed version of the 7->7.5 Update? Thanks, I've got a $30 store credit at Musician's Friend to burn so I may just wait. I updated from 5 to 7 last year, so I wasn't sure if there was ever a boxed version of the 6 to 6.5 update offered.SJ_Digriz wrote:from what I understood, vendors will have the boxes, the Borgz will be download only. Hello,
The upgrade from Cubase 6 to Cubase 6.5 was only available as a download.
Best regards,
GN
Yes, there is a box version but only available through our distributors or resellers.theoryzero wrote:Thanks, I've got a $30 store credit at Musician's Friend to burn so I may just wait. I'm curious about the new algo reverb. It sounds like a classic modelling in the style of IK's CSR or NI's RC48. Is it? How does it sound? A quality reverb like that would easily be worth the price of the upgrade.billcarroll wrote:Bought, downloaded, installed, and woking
There are a lot of nice visual refinements I didn't expect. Everything looks a bit cleaner and sharper.
Now, off to make some music.
Not too excited about the other toys or content included, but I will get this regardless because I always like to stay up to date with the DAW.
Cheers

what's odd is, it seems boxed are available in Europe, but I don't see any US vendors with it on sale.

Anyone find a way to step through samples in a folder using a pad in Groove Agent SE 4? Something like Previous or Next sample? So far I haven't been able to figure out how to do it, or if it's even possible.

Really good update, so far ! The track version is really handy and everything works fine.
@ Berfab : Reveleation is clearly a lex atempt, but it won't replace my uad lex nor rc24/48, imo. I think they're late at the party with this one.
edit : Hmm... although... just played with it on percussions and achieved incredibly good results. They did a really good job.
@ billcaroll : i'm still searching...

Dug this out from page 1, as i forgot to reply to it when i read it back then... well you always could do that, since day one. Up to 8 samples on each pad, at least that's how it is in GrooveAgent One.Izak Synthiemental wrote:I wonder whether Steinberg finally realized, that in a drum sampler you would want to stack/layer multiple drum sounds on one key in order to create your own unique drums (classical example: layering a 808 kick under a accoustic kick sample). It's shocking, but this very basic feature was missing in the former version of Groove Agent SE!!! Can anyone tell me, whether they implemented this basic feature in the updated version of Groove Agent SE?

I'll have a play with the new reverb and let you know what I think.BERFAB wrote:I'm curious about the new algo reverb. It sounds like a classic modelling in the style of IK's CSR or NI's RC48. Is it? The REVelation reverb is not new. If you don't have 7.5 yet and you'd like to hear what it sounds like, open HALion Sonic SE and load the reverb effect. With the exception of the metered GUI and two additional modulation controls, REVelation is a 1:1 copy of the HSSE reverb featureset. Steinberg took the HALion version and repurposed it into a VST plugin that could be used throughout the program as an FX send/ret channel or insert.I'm curious about the new algo reverb. You're right, but you missed that the only early reflection type is "Hall" in HALion. REVelation has "Chamber" and "Studio" as well as the new modulation controls.Weasel-Boy wrote:The REVelation reverb is not new.
