Waves RBass Cubase 7 error/exception SOLVED

I had an issue with the Rbass waves plug giving an error message which basically said and exception had occurred with RBass save work blah blah when I closed the GUI. Using Cubase Artist 7.0.6 64 it and the latest Waves woli. I thought perhaps the install was not correct, but that was not so. I received two more waves plugs and the same thing occurred. After an exhaustive search it lead me to believe it might be a Graphics card issue(intel) so went to Device manager and choose the search for updates option for the Graphics(which for some silly reason I thought would not be fruitful) turns out there was an update and now all is fine. Thanks to those who tried to be of assistance and for those that may have similar issues, update your Graphics card drivers

Known issues with Waves is if mixing VST2 and VST3 at the same time in a project - on any host.
Don't have Cubase, so how this is handled I don't know. Hosts like Studio One and Sonar X3 hide VST2 stuff that exist as VST3.
Waves strongly recommend that you don't do this.
Just one thing I came to think about....so if it might be relevant you know better.

Thanks for the heads up. I do have one Vst2 folder which has free Bluecat stuff but haven't used them. For inserts I mainly use PSP and Sonimus "Satson" plugs and for sends Vahalla room and RP-delay and hopefully Waves HT-Delay. VSTi's I am not sure what maybe "disguised" but fortunately I have been weeding them out and will only keep what I feel I will really use. I hope this won't be an issue as far as the VSTi "keepers" playing well together.lfm wrote:Known issues with Waves is if mixing VST2 and VST3 at the same time in a project - on any host.

Well good and bad news but really more bad as I don't have any other Waves plugs, lfm wrote:I was unclear - don't mix Wavaes VST2 with Waves VST3 - was my intention to say.
Just one thing that popped up, have no idea if relevant...
so still an issue. I'll see if I get any more insight here, then if not type the whole email again to Waves. BTW when I do get my other 2 (Elements and HT-Delay) how do you install those as I only see the woli exe?
