Buy the DVD when it is released...

You'll get front row seats, perfect surround sound and less aggravation...

Sir Mick says,"It's only cash - but I like it"
No auto tune...

It isn't really the cost of tickets that worries me. I'm unable to stand up for 15 minutes, never mind 3 to 4 hours.
DVD or streaming off the web is my only real option.
Last show I saw was Satriani a few years back. Great but it simply hurt too much :-)
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Wheel chair? ... not so great, small dent to pride, but would work.

There was a guy in a wheelchair* at Earthcore (psy festival, out in the sticks) last weekend. He looked like he was having a great time. Had to admire him and his carers resolve for taking him along!

Peace,
Andy.

* edit - I think he had cerebral palsy, which would make it very difficult to cope with camping!

Don't wanna do that Andy, it would feel like surrender.
I've given up so many things already. I should grab one of those disabled parking things but stubbornness gets in the way.

:)

Yeah, it's not ideal ... I hope the suggestion wasn't offensive in any way!

Of course it wasn't :-)
Poo happens Andy, we'd all be in trouble if it didn't.

i used to take a friend in a wheelchair to odd gigs. it was pretty cool as most venues over here have a raised platform for disabled patrons, which meant i could actually see as well, no tall people stood in front of me.
at the apollo it was also right next to the bar!
used to hate getting him home when we where both pissed though :hihi:

dont see it as giving in, see it as adapting. and believe me, i understand, ive been told ill probably end up in one within a few years with the nerve damage in my neck.
i did feel a prick when i first started using a cane, but then i bought a cool looking one 8)

we do what we gotta do to have some fun in life!

you could just borrow oone of the stones wheelchairs while theyve been reanimated for the stage :hihi:

You were holding on to the wrong thing then. Probably made people stare quite a bit in public...

Wasn't rock 'n roll kind of a rebelling of the poor against the upper class? What sense does it make now if only the rich people can buy a ticket for the Rolling Stones? Isn't there a rock 'n roll attitude anymore, just some jumping wealthy people who want to have fun? :?

It think it was more about sneaking sexualised lyrics past the censorship board.

Rock n roll, all night long ;)

It was also about finding a way of selling black music to the white masses.

Rock 'n Roll was always WHITE music. Blues was black music...

I like the description of Woody and Keef "flanking Jagger like a pair of diseased crows."
