Anyone else find it odd that the same 5 people dominate every thread here? Scare away most of the real musicians with their flame banter back and forth.
Anyone know where they find time to make music in between forum posts?
Seems they only know how to talk about making music, not actually how to make it.

I personally like to use forums while I'm listening for and auditioning changes I want to make. Or while I'm on my phone. Just because Ihave access to my phone doesn't mean I have access to studio time. Lastly, I like to keep in touch with other musicians, because no matter how much we bitch at eachother, we're still in the same boat, being passionate about the same end.dramaticforumrat wrote:Anyone else find it odd that the same 5 people dominate every thread here? can Pulsar act like a real OSC ? I whant to check my monitors with it playing around on low freqs but I am not shure if I'd be better off getting a OSC plug-in that aint a synth for that but Pulsar can do this 2 right ?

I'm sad to hear that you feel that way.dramaticforumrat wrote:Anyone else find it odd that the same 5 people dominate every thread here? Scare away most of the real musicians with their flame banter back and forth.

I post a lot in here, but try to be fair when I can
One thing I like about this forum though, is that there is little or no "gangs" in here. You can have a discussion with another users without getting his friends in there to back him up.

Plus this thread is the thread about Reason aka the post here for Reason users until forum is back and working !
if I whant to share my music and talk about it I go to soundcloud .
doing music is great but if you had party yesterday like I did and just waked up you would anderstand that a small chat break about anything is better then a sound blast and just as productive because it fresher my mind to make music later @ 5 n'da morning when I feel fresh again.
and I do music every day so a break of days can be good for my prods if not just a real need !
I know theo and lunesis from PH forum and I think I know all the other posters here even with there new names from reading up and looking at there avatars so I feel nice exchanging a few words with them , it feels like we having a brew and talk about some news of things we sharing interest for .

Why not make a "Happy Sunshine Rainbow Kitten, Nothing to Be Afraid of Here!" thread for real musicians then, goober?dramaticforumrat wrote:Anyone else find it odd that the same 5 people dominate every thread here? Scare away most of the real musicians with their flame banter back and forth.

ok , but I dont whant to build a synth , I just whant to place my monitors at the sweet spot and I look at a real lfo to make some 20 to 40hz low and slow noize to place them right !
I never did that before so I ask if I can do that with pulsar or pulverisator insted of a real one .
in other terms I look for a OSC that can be used to check the freqs I ear from the speakers to place them at the right spot .
I'm taking the guess pulsar can be used for that ?!!??

Yeah, I find it a bit rich, and hypocritical, that someone who thinks badly of people who hang out on forums and debate can't resist lurking for a while and then starting an account just to flame them.stroker_ace wrote:Why not make a "Happy Sunshine Rainbow Kitten, Nothing to Be Afraid of Here!" thread for real musicians then, goober?dramaticforumrat wrote:Anyone else find it odd that the same 5 people dominate every thread here? Most of us have been doing music for years. After a while you realize if you're ever going to get past a certain point you're going to need other people, whether it be their knowledge, advice, or talent. Where better to go than a forum? I've already colloborated with at least 5 different people, and all were met on the PUF. So if someone wants to pretend that forums are only for wannabes, then they are probably in denial about their own shortcomings.
