Yeah, thought about that and especially turning effect chains into modular effect racks. thanks to the modulation devices.

--------------

Btw, if someone missed it, some effects have a "wet FX" feature so you can apply processing just to an effect in a chain and blend it in as parallel with the dry/wet mix. May sound complicated but it's not, very useful.

Some effects (like the Delay) let you chuck plugs in the feedback path instead of the simpler parallel "wet FX" way. cool stuff! :tu:

Also, the modulation devices are great! once I had a play with the Audio mod device for example, I thought to myself that I won't ever use sidechain compressors again! :hihi:

speaking of compressors and sidechains...

There are two compressors. one that's simple, fast and easy to use and another one "Dynamics" that's the more advanced one which features a real sidechain input + a dedicated sidechain effects section so you can chuck any effect plugin (like a filter, eq, distortion or even another compressor? :hihi: ) to have a cumulative result with the sidechain input signal.

They won't.
They are coding a DAW.
The hype is provided by 3rd party humans.

Cheers, ;-)

It's a safe bet. Just about every daw has a demo. Unless you are really well known or you have a lock on your market or something, you're just shooting yourself in the foot if you don't release one.

Now this is hype! :hihi:

Hype is (can also be) when one gets overexcited about something and start to be overprotective ignoring and/or rejecting the bad stuff.

but unfortunately, the only bad thing about Bitwig atm is that it's not released maybe. ;)

I begin to understand their way of making things and mostly agree with it.

Why rush and implement things just to have problems when updating/upgrading/changing them later? Seems like they are taking their time to find the best way to implement things as well as fix bugs. :)

It's real and very much Alive!
What is the multi lane thing? Does it mean you can work on different instruments at the same time? If so that'd be awesome!

Is it possible to pre-order Bitwig Studio? I'm feeling very patient. :hihi:

Just tried, yes, not only you can select all single notes on multiple clips by clicking on the piano roll's keys, but you can also edit the whole batch. Also, noticed a lock switch so if active, edits won't apply to specific instruments. (or notes depending on the selection) :tu:
