Hey,

You can just route out Thor's LFO to do what you want. Just add a modmatrix line - LFO1 > 100 > Audio Output 1. Connect Thor's first audio output to your mixer. Now just set the LFO to whatever freq you are needing to tune your monitors. Should work fine.

ok , but I dont whant to build a synth , I just whant to place my monitors at the sweet spot and I look at a real lfo to make some 20 to 40hz low and slow noize to place them right !

I never did that before so I ask if I can do that with pulsar or pulverisator insted of a real one .

in other terms I look for a OSC that can be used to check the freqs I ear from the speakers to place them at the right spot .

I'm taking the guess pulsar can be used for that ?!!??

Turn Level up and adjust frequency with Rate knob on LFO 1.

What Jeremy says as well.

Rob Papen: "We do our best to get it out this month! It can combine several models in one sound, so I have to build a few more presets which display the tweak power of PunchBD-RE. Fun part of my job!"

"We also release early next year Punch-BD VST (AU/AAX). So in my vision a separate BD module makes allot sense. Maybe a typical Dutch approach? LoL The PunchBD-RE will be very cool. Especially for dance music producers, this will be an awesome tool."

Looks fun.

@Jeremy-nsl and @krucial ; thanks guys , I think I will try both out just to see but since I got Pulsar RE I think I will go using it !

So the punch is an envelope shaper of some sort?
Wonder why he is looking to release a RE first followed by a VST/AAX?

I think it is a drum synth, since they already have a Punch VST: http://www.robpapen.com/punch.html.
But BD? A special Bass Drum version?

I can't believe that the PUF is still down, and once again wonder how that business operates. Any other vBulletin boards still down? NOPE ! Anyway, this place (KVR) is far more musically minded so a migration of PUF members to here can only be a good thing. Moving right along....

Can I use the Thor & Malstrom filters for audio tracks? I'm not sure how to patch them in, because I rarely work in the back of the rack.

EDIT: Using R7, if that matters, with the SSL mix channels and all that. I'm sure I used the Malstrom's filters for other instruments in older versions..... pre SSL

Post

Malstrom and Thor works but not Subtractor. On Malstrom you have Audio input on the right side.

So you connect the audio output to audio input on Malstrom and audio output from malstrom back to audio channel.

Post

Thanks D-Fusion. This works with the Malstrom, but when I try the Thor, plugging into Thor's Audio Input (1,2,3,4)on the second bank from the right, There's no sound.

You have to route the audio using the modulation matrix.
For instance:
Source: Audio in 1 Amount: 100% Dest: Filter 3 Left in
Source: Audio in 2 Amount: 100% Dest: Filter 3 Right in.

Yeah, the "BD" stands for bass drum. It's fantastic that Rob Papen are continuing to develop RE's. Their flagship RE are some of the most expensive in the shop (Predator RE) but sales must be strong enough to compel them to keep going. The whole conspiracy theory that Softube is "in bed" with Props is hogwash, me thinks.
