Yes you can granulate up to 8 sounds simultaneously and play them all at the same time, if you configure the range min and max of each sounds to do so, in the Sound Setup page.

Creating some lovely textures, soundscapes and abstract beats. :)
Great! When will we get to hear some of them on Sound Cloud?

No, Windows 7, sorry. The beta price will continue after the Windows version is released - beta testing won't be done until it's well tested on Windows!

Operating systems & hosts
For the moment, The Mangle will only be available for Mac OS X as an Audio Unit and VST for 32/64 bit hosts. A Windows version will follow in the coming weeks - the only reason that I haven't released it concurrently is that I'm flat broke and can't afford a copy of Windows 8 to test on! Rest assured, the code is cross-platform, so it should just be a matter of compiling and testing in a few hosts.

I'm requiring OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion [Update: I now support OSX 10.7 Lion] and I may even require Windows 8 (though I hope to support 7). I realise there are still quite a lot of people on older OSes, but this is a technical decision relating to support for C++11.
Someone donate him a Win8 licence and some NFR host licences - and we'll get a windows port quicker :D

That's kind but it shouldn't be a problem, I believe if I get a Windows 7 binary working it should work on Windows 8, that blog post is a bit erroneous.

There will be 32 & 64 bit versions, I don't know whether things will be as convenient as on Mac - there you can have combined 32/64 binaries, I'm still not sure if you can do that on Windows...

That rules out Vista then. Oh well, I've already bought a licence. I guess I'll hold on to it as I'll have to upgrade OS at some point.
