That rules out Vista then. Oh well, I've already bought a licence. I guess I'll hold on to it as I'll have to upgrade OS at some point.

Some things I have that are only suppose to work on 7 work fine on Vista for me. Of course I'm running a x64Vista Ultimate on that one machine, so I don't know if that makes a difference since I have a x86Vista that won't. Since you already bought it, wait and see. But I'll be running it on 7/8.1 so I'll wait until they release that beta.

regarding not having Win 8 available, if you are a student (or know someone who is) you can probably get it for free through your school...

Good news for Windows people: my progress has been faster than I expected. I just have to run a few more tests. Expect an announcement before the end of the week.

Also good news for Snow Leopard people: to get Windows 7 compatibility I had to un-C++11 most of the code (that was a chore, let me tell you). That means that a Snow Leopard release is now looking much more likely.
