Just drop you desktop with your DAW running an EDM track onto the floor and record that drop with a contact mic inside the computer. Then compress to taste and run the sound through any saturator.

Seriously, the build-up isn't the drop, the drop comes after it and is usually accompanied by a percussion hit with much reverb and a short break. After the drop, the next part begins.
