The best sample/sound distributor?

Hi guys, i looking for some help on a tough decision.
In the past i worked on samples for another company and want now to start with a own sample label. What sample distributor to choose - Loopmasters(LM) or Beatport Sounds(BS)?

So far the sample packs i had programmed, were released through another company on LM. A friend told me of heavy changes next year on LM. All sample packs which getting not a specific amount of sales in a 6-month time frame will be erase from the LM store. There will just be a 50% off campaign for few days or similar in the „end" (what even could be after some months!) looks pretty bad to me - seems they are just after those rare high profitable sample packs from now on. Doesn't matter what you earned with your product - you just get deleted! And this will happen to anyone there as every product will sell less after some release time.

I think all sample/ sound developer want all their work completely in the store of their fav distributor. By removing them without letting the developer a choice - also all reviews are gone, all ratings, text, artwork, everything. The previously products which build the brand are gone forever. In the end the user, just see only the few current „temporaly good selling" products, and a half year later some of his maybe fav sample packs are not even more in the shop. Surely half of all products in their shop will be erased. Usually i want to release my new sample packs on LM, but through this change, i don't know if the opposite BS would be the better to me?

What would you do? Releasing through Beatport Sounds/S2S or Loopmasters - to be deleted there after some time. In my eyes Loopmasters will look so incomplete as a shop and in the future customers will always visit other shops if they want get the full product line of a artist or company. Or looking for a completely different distributor like Prime Loops or Producerloops?

Why can't you do both? I buy from both. I see cross pollination everywhere. PL is on BP S2S , etc, etc....
To be frank, I go wherever gives me the best price. Sometimes that's Juno Downloads. Sometimes the price discrepancy can be disturbing.

Why don't you distribute your samplepacks yourself?

I've tested several distributors but they never gained more than 5% of my total sales.

That's because they mostly promote only their own products, give you only 50% share and you'll get lost between dozens of other labels and hundreds of similar products.

LM: All sample packs which getting not a specific amount of sales in a 6-month time frame will be erase from the LM store.

They also remove packs that are "misleading" (e.g. a samplepack with "Deep House" from 5 years ago that has nothing in common with actual Deep House).

Depending on the genre of music you produce, I'd recommend Beatport Sounds if you're into dance music oriented libraries. I have one sound library there and it solds well for a short while... but still, it solds very well!

If you plan to release more niche market libraries, I'd go with Sampleism or make your own shop using Tradebit for the payment system. With Tradebit you earn 80% of the sales made on your site and you have an automated system (no products to manualy ship sending emails with links to products). If you sell directly on Tradebit, you earn 70% of the sales. The only drawback is that your store on Tradebit will look a bit cheap... That's why I'd rather sell on directly on my website. This is what I plan to do next year.

I don't see the point to sell everywhere, I've tried it and made the same amount of money than selling my libraries on only one place...
